During this time of shutdown, I have managed to continue pushing myself to learn something…anything…so I have the accomplishment to brag about.

Long before the the pandemic and the resulting crisis, I have discovered the online learning site called Alison. It is a site based in Ireland that offers literally thousands of courses and platforms of study and upon completion, one is rewarded with either a certificate or a diploma. I’m really not sure…nor am I happy with…why one has to pay for a certificate or diploma. I guess in the end, it’s still a business like everything else these days…

Outside of that one negative, I am very pleased with the course offerings, and highly recommend them to anyone looking to pickup a skill to add to their repertoire .

The courses I have completed so far include Fundamentals of Human Resources, Fundamentals of Financial Accounting, Financial Literacy, and Introduction to Managing Your Personal Finance Debts- Revised. As of this writing, I am currently taking the Fundamentals of Project Management course. I hope to take other courses in their Project Management Track, because I feel I will see that material again as I embark on my real estate career. Actually, I suspect that I will see most of all of the material from the courses I have been taking.
